Questions people ask
Who owns the website?
You do. It’s your business, your name, your content. If you ever leave, we hand you the files — plain HTML and images you can host anywhere.
Can I use my own domain name?
Yes, at no extra cost. We’ll send you two DNS records to add, or walk you through it on a call if you prefer. Until then your site lives at yourbusiness.sitegleam.com.
What if I want something changed?
Reply to any email from us, or use the “Request changes” button on your preview. Text, photos, colors, hours, a new page — two changes a month are included, and most are done within a few hours.
How is this free to start?
We build the site first and only charge if you decide to keep it. If you don’t, the preview quietly disappears and you owe nothing.
Do you use AI to build these?
Yes. The first draft of the copy, layout and photo selection is drafted with AI, then checked automatically for broken links, typos and layout problems. There’s a person behind it too — Bob, in Hamilton, NJ — and any question the system can’t answer comes to him.
What happens if I cancel?
Cancel any time from the link in your invoice email. Your site stays up until the end of the month you paid for, then comes down. You can ask for your files at any point.
